 Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR digital camera : Fujifilm is proud to introduce the Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR compact camera with advanced photo features. The Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR camera is the little brother of the Fujifilm FinePix F600EXR but without GPS functionality. The Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR camera uses key aspects of the specifications first seen on the Fujifilm F550EXR, but adds more functionality and creative photo features. The Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR is equipped with a 16 Megapixel EXR-CMOS image sensor. The Fujifilm F605EXR features new EXR Auto with a Motion Detection function to reduce subject blur in poor lighting conditions. The Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR will be availible in four colors ; Black, White, Red and Gold.

The Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR compact camera is no slouch when it comes to zoom capability. The Fujifilm F605EXR features a 15x wide optical zoom lens (24-360mm). This guarantees users can capture a wide range of pictures from landscapes through to tightly framed details. Thanks to the intelligent digital zoom, however, the Fujifilm F605EXR zoom range offers double the telephoto power. With intelligent digital zoom, even the most distant objects can be turned into frame-filling close-ups, greatly extending the creative uses for the Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR.

The ½" 16 Megapixel EXR CMOS image sensor in the new Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR digital camera was first presented in the Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR camera and combines Back Side Illuminated CMOS and EXR technologies to deliver great results across a wide range of lighting conditions. This is possible due to the design of the image sensor, which improves light transmission to boost performance, notably in low light conditions. On the Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR, however, low light results are further improved thanks to the new EXR Auto mode that offers Motion Detection.

The new function enables the Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR camera to tackle motion blur on three fronts with mechanical image stabilization, high ISO sensitivity and the new Motion Detection capability working together. In low light conditions with EXR Auto mode selected, the Fujifilm F605EXR will automatically identify if the subject is moving. If it is, the Fujifilm camera deploys Motion Detection and a higher ISO to ensure the subject is captured with reduced blur. If no subject movement is identified, the Fujifilm FinePix F605 EXR will automatically keep the ISO lower and use image stabilization for noise reduction.

Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR detection functions
The Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR digital camera not only detects faces in a frame but the camera can also recognize the people. You can register up to 8 people in your Fujifilm camera and next time you take a picture of them it will bring up their name and optimize settings in favor of your registered faces. In playback, you can search for all photos containing registered faces to quickly find photos of your favorites. By incorporating Dog / Cat Detection function, the Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR camera is able to detect dog or cat faces, optimizing focus and exposure for pet photos that will delight everyone. An auto-release function can also be selected to automatically takes the picture when the pet is looking directly at the digital camera.

A 360° panoramic photo makes for a great memory and the new Fujifilm FinePix F605EXR has an enhanced Motion Panorama mode that ensures those memories are even better preserved. With the camera's 360° panoramic functionality each side of the panorama photo is connected so you get one panoramic picture. No details are missed and you're assured of recording every single aspect of a location. Panorama photos also rely on a steady grip on the digital camera and the Fujifilm FinePix F605 EXR's new rubber coating (Black F605EXR model only) on the front plate will ensure a solid hold, as well as enhancing the overall feel of the camera.
