Nokia N9 camera
In the year 2000 the first mobile phone with a camera was introduced in Japan, the Sharp J-SH04 featured an built-in 0,1 megapixel camera. Photographers remained sceptical about the image quality of a mobile phone camera for a long period of time. But nowadays the image quality is good enough to make nice and clear pictures. The last year introduced Nokia N8 offered a digital camera with a 12 Megapixel resolution. The new Nokia N9 smartphone is equipped with a 8 Megapixel camera, despite the lower resolution, the picture quality is better. With the help of to a new image sensor that supports both 4:3 and 16:9 wide screen format, the creative possibilities of the Nokia N9 are unprecedented.
