 GE J1456W Smart series camera : General Imaging announces the new GE J1456W budget camera at the 2011 PMA Australia Imaging and Entertainment Expo. The new GE J1456W expands the GE Smart series line-up. The entry-level GE J1456W runs on AA or rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries. The GE J1456W budget camera features a new 28mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom, 720p HD video recording capabilities and over 20 different scene modes, including image stabilization, Pancapture and Sketch mode, all housed in a new compact design.

The GE J1456W camera adds a second rechargeable Lithium-ion battery model to GE´s best-selling Smart Series budget cameras. The GE budget camera model J1456W offers many easy to use features including: Smile, Face and Blink Detection; red-eye removal; 720p HD video capabilities and GE's award-winning Pan-Capture Panorama shooting mode with a new 28mm wide angle lens.
