 Nokia Android phone coming? : For some time we hear rumors about a possible Nokia Android phone. Up till now Nokia has equipped their mobile phones with Symbian or Windows Mobile. In the beginning of this year Nokia negotiated with both Windows and Google, after which Nokia announced to further strengthen its collaboration with Microsoft. However, rumors about a new Nokia Android phone keep emerge. The Android operating system has become wildly popular very rapidly, in the first quarter of 2011 Android was world's best selling operating system.

Not so strange that Nokia, who still sells the most mobile phones worldwide, consider a collaboration with Google as a possible option to market a Nokia Android phone.
Android Nokia phone
Nokia recently introduced their new Nokia N9 smartphone, with the new Internet-based operating system MeeGo. Meanwhile different versions have appeared on the internet. First we saw a look-a-like of the Nokia N9 with Windows Phone 7, also known as the Nokia Sea Ray. Now a Chinese website published a picture of the Nokia N9 with Android 2.3. Whether this is a creative creation of reality is not yet clear. It is certain though, that back in May, the same website showed already pictures of the recently announced Nokia N9 MeeGo smartphone. Whether or not Nokia is secretly working on a Nokia Android phone remains to be seen, we will keep an eye on it! |
