The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active comes pre-loaded with sports apps that enable user to easily track their fitness levels. Users of the new Xperia Active mobile phone can set their ideal training route using the built-in GPS, Barometer and Compass. The Xperia Active features on-screen heart rate and pulse can be monitored in real-time (enabled by ANT+ wireless networking technology), while the iMap My Fitness app can monitor day to day performance. Additionally, Facebook inside Xperia allows consumers to share their fitness progress and personal experiences with friends.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Android phone incorporates wet finger tracking, to ensure the Smartphone works correctly when either the touchscreen or a user’s fingers are wet. The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active Smartphone is truly water resistant, the new Xperia phone can be kept under 1m of water for 30 mins. The Xperia Active Smartphone will be available in orange band with black back cover – white extra cover in the sales kit, or with white band with black back cover – white extra phone cover in the retail kit.
