SamsungNew Samsung DVD Writers : Samsung Electronics announced the Samsung SH-222AB internal DVD writer with fast Lead-In that considerably reduces disc recognition time during start-up. With Samsung DVD writers, consumers will get ultra quick load times, dramatically reducing the wait time from disc insert to usage in the Optical Disc Drives. With Samsung’s new technology, the Samsung SH-222AB DVD DVD writer reduces its Lead-In-Time up to 60 percent at maximum. Prior to this, users of traditional DVD writers had to wait 15 to 30 seconds of load time to start after inserting a disc into the DVD writer. By reducing the lag time, Samsung SH-222AB DVD writer enables a much richer experience for ODD users looking for quick start-up operation.

In addition, Samsung SH-222AB DVD writer is manufactured with lead-free soldering technology in accordance with the restriction of hazardous substances directive that limits use of materials with Pb, cd, cr+6, Hg, PBBs and PBDE.

The Samsung DVD writer, SH-222AB, is available in the United States and carries a street price of $29.00.
