Olympus SZ-20 test photos : Two months ago, Olympus introduced three new digital compact cameras, including the Olympus SZ-20. Thanks to the compact, lightweight camera body and the powerful zoom performance, the Olympus SZ-20 is the ideal digital camera to take with you everywhere you go. The incredibly slim camera is equipped with an impressive 12.5 x super wide-angle zoom lens for stunning wide-angle images and clear close-up photos. The 16 megapixel Olympus SZ-20 digital camera is equipped with a very sensitive, light CMOS sensor for optimal image quality, even with low light.
Olympus SZ-20 review The SZ-series, or Super-Zoom series, is Olympus’ completely new camera series, already made up of three different digital compact cameras. The Olympus SZ-20 is positioned between the SZ-10 that was introduced in January of this year, and the top model, the SZ-30MR. The Olympus SZ-20 distinguishes itself with both its photo and video resolution from the SZ-10. The Olympus SZ-20 also offers the possibility to make repeating high-speed photos, with a shutter speed of 9 fps. Olympus’ top model, the SZ-30MR, is also equipped with the possibility to make Full HD- video recordings simultaneously with high resolution photographs. The zoom range is also greater in both brothers.
Olympus SZ-20 digital camera The Olympus SZ-20 camera is equipped with diverse advanced photo functions. For example, Smart Panorama allows you to easily make nice panorama photos. The so-called 3D photo function is also innovative, with which a pair of photos, taken of one situation from two different angles, making one photo that can be viewed with the impressive dynamic effect of 3D. Thanks to the wireless Eye-Fi support, captured shots can be uploaded to the PC or a website. The Olympus SZ-20 camera is available in a black and a silver version for a suggested retail price of 219 Euros.

The Olympus SZ-20 will soon be fully tested on technical aspects in our DIWA test lab under laboratory conditions.
