Casio Exilim EX-ZR10 test photos : During last year’s Photokina, Casio introduced a new Exilim High Speed digital camera. The advanced, super fast Casio Exilim EX-ZR10 is ideal for artistic photography. The 12.1 megapixel Casio EX-ZR10 is equipped with the new Exilim Engine HS image processor, which integrates high-speed photography and image processing. In combination with Casio’s High-Dynamic Range-technology (HDR), stunning photos are guaranteed. By pushing the shutter-release button, the HDR-function shoots several photos with different shutter-release times. These photos are then combined to make one photo with the optimum contrast depth. In this way, light as well as dark parts of the photo are lit equally.
Casio Exilim EX-ZR10 review
The Exilim EX-ZR10 belongs to Casio’s High Speed camera series and was the first compact camera equipped with HDR technology. Now the Casio EX-ZR100 camera is also equipped with such technology. Both digital cameras are also equipped with the unique HDR-Art function, which creates a completely new type of photography. The HDR-Art function controls the contrast and colors, which allows you to add interesting, fun effects to your photos. These are effects that previously were only possible with PC software, and that now can be achieved by just pushing one button.

In the ultra high-speed burst mode it is possible to achieve a maximum of 40 photos per second. This makes the Casio Exilim EX-ZR10 ideal for photography of moving subjects, such as children or animals. Besides being really fast, the Casio Exilim EX-ZR10 is also very user-friendly. The Casio ZR10 camera is equipped with a 7x optical zoom that has the same effective range of a 14x optical zoom, thanks to Multi SR Zoom. The Casio EX-ZR10 digital camera is also equipped with a slide panorama function and offers the camera extensive video recording options. Next to high-speed video recordings with a speed of up to 480 frames per second for slow motion images, the Casio Exilim ZR10 also makes Full HD- video recordings.
