Nikon Coolpix S9100 test photos : The stylish Nikon Coolpix S9100 digital camera was introduced at the start of this year in Japan, during the CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show. The 12.1 megapixel Nikon Coolpix S9100 is at the top of Nikon’s stylish camera series and is the successor to the Nikon Coolpix S8100. The Nikon Coolpix S9100’s incredibly flat camera body has an 18x Nikkor zoom lens, instead of the10x zoom that the Nikon Coolpix S8100 offers. Impressive photos and videos can be taken with the new camera lens, from 25mm wide angle to 450mm super-tele. The very slim Nikon Coolpix S9100 digital camera became available last month for a suggested retail price of 329 Euro. The Nikon S9100 is available in several different colors.

The Nikon Coolpix S9100 zoom function cannot only be used while shooting photos, but also while recording videos. The Nikon Coolpix S9100 digital camera is able to shoot Full HD video with stereo sound. Shooting macro photos at a mere 1.5cm distance and 360˚ panorama photos are some of the possibilities. The Nikon Coolpix S9100’s screen remains unchanged. The large 3" LCD screen with 921.000 pixels uses Nikon’s Clear Color Display technology, which reduces energy use and reflections, even under strong sunlight.

Blurry photos are further prevented by seven different functions, while there were only five in the Nikon Coolpix S8100. Special lighting settings as well as the night portrait and night landscape functions are new, so that memories can be captured nice and sharp, even at night.
