Kyocera Rio Smartphone : Kyocera and Cricket announced the addition of the Kyocera Rio (Model : Kyocera E3100) into Cricket's versatile mobile phone line-up. Demonstrating the wireless carrier's commitment to providing cost-conscious yet high-function mobile phones, the Kyocera Rio Smartphone will be available starting today for a suggested retail price of $129.99 in Cricket-branded retail stores, select dealers and via the Cricket website. Weighing in at just over 3 ounces, the compact Kyocera Rio Smartphone packs a stellar 2.8" QVGA full touchscreen display and the new My Home Screen with 3 customizable home screens, quick one-touch access icons for messaging, dialer, and scrollable menu and contacts.

The new Kyocera Rio mobile phone also comes with an optical trackpad / navigation key, 1.3 megapixel digital camera, music player, microSD memory card slot, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack and links to Cricket Navigator, Mobile e-mail, and My Backup. Additionally, the paperless installed Kyocera Rio user guide makes navigating the features easy for all. The Kyocera Rio Smartphone provides users with up to 330 minutes of talk and text time before the battery needs recharging, supports up to 16GB microSD memory cards for all the users' favorite music and videos, and complements the unlimited talk, text and picture messaging capabilities offered to all Cricket customers.

The pocket-friendly Kyocera Rio handset will be offered on Cricket's all-inclusive unlimited plans, including the basic $35 unlimited talk and text, and the robust $45 plan which provides users with unlimited talk, text, 411 information, navigation, international text, unlimited and video picture messages, unlimited web browsing and more. In addition, Kyocera Rio customers utilizing the $45 rate plan have free and fast access to Cricket Navigator, mobile email and MyBackup, a system that protects customer contact lists.
