 Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 photo gallery : We attended the press conference Panasonic held in Stockholm, Sweden and were given the opportunity to shoot with a pre-production model of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 megazoom camera. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 is a high-end megazoom camera in the Lumix series and offers a powerful optical zoom and creative options including manual operation. Full HD movie recording capability is now also added to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 specifications. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 features a high-quality Leica DC Vario Elmarit 25mm ultra wide-angle lens with a 24x optical zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 25-600mm). The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 is also equipped with a newly developed MOS sensor.

Review Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100
The new 14.1 Megapixel MOS sensor adopts micro fabrication technology and achieves even higher sensitivity. The result is that a photographer can shoot photo and movie at any sensitivity from low to high and still have high quality clearness. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 digital camera inherits the high speed digital signal output technology of the Panasonic DMC-GH1. It is now realizing high speed consecutive shooting, 11 fps in 14-megapixel full resolution and 5 fps with continues AF, and Full High Definition recording.

Power O.I.S. stabilization ensures sharp quality shots even with high zoom. The Face Recognition function remembers registered faces to give an appropriate AF/AE on the people. The Intelligent Scene Selector, which automatically selects whichever of 6 Scene modes - Macro, Portrait, Scenery, Night Portrait, Night Scenery and Sunset - that best suits the shooting situation. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 features a free-angle 3.0-inch 460,000 dot display with wide viewing angle and 0.2-inch 202,000 dot electronic view finder, both with 100% field of view.
