Sony EricssonSony Ericsson Vivaz review : With the arrival of the Vivaz, Sony Ericsson demonstrates that they are taking a different road. Often Sony Ericsson cell phones can be recognized immediately as such, but with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz that is certainly not the case. One of the most important features that are mentioned in communication about the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is the possibility of recording video in HD resolution. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz runs on the Symbian operating system.

Sony Ericsson review : HD camcorder function
Next to the photo quick key, there is also a special video quick key. The camcorder is activated with this quick key. The video function is important in the Vivaz, not only is it included in all communication, but on the back HD quality is written, in which the Sony Ericsson can record videos. The maximum resolution with which video can be recorded is 1280x720, or 720p. This allows for the material to be called High Definition video.

Sony Ericsson review : GPS navigation from Wisepilot
Due to the Sony Ericsson Vivaz’ GPS-antenna, a precise position definition is possible. In the menu, under location services, you find programs that work with this. Among others, there is Google Maps, so that you always know where you are and you can easily define your route. Of course this is not true navigation, and that’s why Wisepilot is installed, as this is full spoken navigation software. The full application is actually only available for a 30 day trial, and if you want to keep using it you can activate it via the phone with a credit card: one week for €2.95, three months for €24.95 or one year for €69.95. Wisepilot works pretty well, only it would have been a nice gesture if the license came included.
