Free wireless internet at McDonalds restaurants : Free wireless Internet? Sounds good, and as of today also a reality. The only thing that you have to do is find the nearest McDonald’s branch, netbook or notebook in hand, Apple iPad in the other hand or smartphone in the pocket and start up the browser to visit the World Wide Web. While enjoying a Mac menu, surfing totally commercial-free Internet sounds to us, in any case, like music to the ears. Actually it's strange that the McDonalds fast food restaurants has taken so long before undertaking this venture. Readers' reactions point to the fact that it is possible to use free wireless Internet at several McDonald’s branches.

With this action, it is clear that McDonald’s is competing with others such as Burger King and Bagels & Beans. Gradually, the possibilities for wireless Internet in the Netherlands are becoming more extensive and more effective. Add to that the announcement that the Netherlands Railway company (Nederlandse Spoorwegen) is phasing in the introduction of free Internet on the trains, and mobile office traffic will be even more effective.

Now all we need is free internet at the beach and we can look forward to the summer. The beach restaurant owners must have anticipated the rise in mobile communication, as there are electric sockets available and Internet possibilities, and preferably wireless Internet. Don't you bet that those places will be filled with 'work-from-homers' during the summer?
