 New LG mobile phone GU230 : It appeared in Russia at the end of last year, but now the LG GU230 mobile phone has also been seen outside of Russia. The LG GU230 is a beginner’s model cell phone with a nice design and aimed at the lower end of the market. It becomes clear that these are simple specifications when we see that the built-in digital camera has only 1.3 Megapixels. We are surprised that LG would still seriously consider integrating such a low resolution camera into new phones, but the LG GU230 cell phone shows that LG is indeed serious. Perhaps the camera-application is seen as a detail and that the emphasis is more on the simplicity and control of the LG GU230.

LG GU230 budget handset
The LG GU230’s display has a 2.2-inch format and is a standard screen without any extra qualities that are worth mentioning. The music player is also included and supports MP3, AAC and AAC+ formats. There is a slot for microSD memory cards present, but we still wonder if it actually supports the complete microSD card series up to 32GB. Earlier announcements at the end of 2009 spoke of a maximum of 8GB.

The new LG GU230 cell phone supports GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz networks and comes with a 900mAh Li-Ion battery included. As soon as we have more information about the availability and further phone specifications, a new publication will follow. |
