 Emporia senior mobile phones : Emporia, specialized in mobile communication solutions for seniors, was present during the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona with a remarkable booth. While other manufacturers seem to be showing a minimization trend, Emporia is rather focusing on designs with large buttons and clear organization. Emporia introduced two new senior cell phones, namely the Emporia Elegance and the Emporia Solid handsets. The Emporia Solid is a senior cell phone that is especially shock resistant, a bit more robust and most likely also a bit more reliable when this cell phone is used outdoors. That is not such a bad idea, because many seniors lead active lives, maybe even more active than before.

Especially practicing outdoor activities such as cycling and walking are quite popular, but what about aquatic sports? When we came across the water ways during our practice reviews, it was indeed remarkable to see how many seniors cherish their boats and get to know their country in a different way. Boat or home repairs are also significantly increasing and a device that plays a central role in the named activities is the cell phone. With the Emporia Solid the senior user will not or hardly run the risk of damaging their communication device.

De Emporia Solid senior phone is next to shock resistant also water and dust resistant and the fine, clear OLED screen offers a good visible display of the necessary information. A second advantage of OLED displays is that this type of screen uses relatively little energy. The Emporia Solid senior phone is expected to be available in the 3th quarter of this year for about 199 Euro.
Emporia Elegance senior phone
That second seniors’ cell phone that Emporia presented was the Emporia Elegance. Such as the name suggests, the Elegance is the opposite of the Solid. It does not have shock, water and dust resistant qualities, but it is a basic senior cell phone with a tidy appearance. Most importantly, the Emporia senior cell phone is easy to operate, as true user-friendliness should be. And the Emporia Elegance phone shows that this doesn’t have to be at the cost of a good design.
New senior phones from Emporia
The Emporia Elegance senior phone also has the OLED screen. Just as we mentioned, this type of screen offers a good display, even with full sunlight and is moreover low-energy. The Emporia Elegance senior phone has a friendly price and will be available in the second quarter of 2010 for a suggested retail price of 129 Euro.
