FujifilmFujifilm FinePix S2500HD digital camera : Fujifilm is proud to announce the arrival of the new FinePix S2500HD, a 12 megapixel digital camera with a powerful Fujinon long-zoom lens. The Fujifilm FinePix S-series bridge cameras have been popular across the world for many years, and the new Fujifilm S2500HD doesn't disappoint. Built around a new x18 Fujinon lens and Fujifilm's proprietary image processing, the new Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD delivers remarkably high quality results all the way from wide angle through to telephoto. With unique easy-grip styling, and its small, lightweight design, the FinePix S2500HD can be easily carried around with you, yet are sturdy enough to let you know that you're in charge of the technology.

Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD features a 18x zoom lens
The Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD boast a 28mm wide-angle zoom lens, extendable to 504mm (x18). From sweeping landscapes, interiors and large group shots to distant sports or wildlife action, this Fujifilm camera is ready for every photographic challenge. With a mechanically stabilised CCD sensor and high ISO sensitivity (to ISO6400) for anti-blur protection, the combination of these technologies reduces the blurring effect of both hand-shake and subject movement to provide sharp, clean and clear results even at the longest zoom settings or in the most challenging of lighting conditions.

Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD equipped with 3" LCD screen
Providing you with the flexibility of framing your shots using the high quality electronic viewfinder or the large, bright 3.0-inch LCD screen, whichever you choose, they both offer high resolution image playback and a fast frame rate of 60 fps. Using Fujifilm's Scene Recognition Auto (SR Auto) the Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD digital camera is able to intelligently select the scene type and the shooting conditions present and will adjust the camera settings accordingly, optimising results and making it easy to take good pictures.

Capture HD videos with the Fujifilm S2500HD camera
The Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD can capture HD videos and HD still images enabling you to play them back on any HD ready television for the ultimate viewing experience. Additionally, the FinePix S2500HD features an HDMi mini port so can connect to a HD ready TV direct via a HDMI cable (optional). Now featuring Tracking Auto Focus, previously only on the S1500 model, this useful function allows you to track moving subjects by half-pressing the shutter button and ensures that when you take the shot you capture your subject in the centre of the frame and in perfect focus. With the Fujifilm S2500HD you will get no more frustrating missed shots!

Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD camera features Smile & Shoot mode
To further enhance the existing Face Detection system, Fujifilm have added two fun and valuable features: Smile & Shoot Mode can recognise the precise moment your subject smiles and releases the shutter only when this happens, ensuring that all your photos are happy ones. Blink Detection warns you if any of your subjects have blinked so that you can re-take the photo if necessary. Previously on the S2000HD, Instant Zoom is a versatile feature on the Fujifilm S2500HD which enables the user to keep their subject in shot at long distance by offering a wide viewing area around the frame and then cropping in to the subject once the photo is taken.

Zoom Bracketing function on the Fujifilm S2500HD digital camera
Zoom Bracketing is another useful function and enables three shots to be taken at the single press of the button, at varying degrees of magnification (original, 1.4 x and 2.0 x). This enables instant editing on the S2500HD camera to choose the ideal shot, rather than having to go back to a PC to facilitate a digital crop.

Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD photo modes
• Panorama mode : allows you to take a series of pictures and then stitch them together to create an impressive continuous shot of a landscape or a group of friends.
• Pre-programmed scene modes : Portrait, Landscape, Sport, Night, Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Beach, Party, Flower, Text.
• Natural light with Flash mode : this FinePix new S-series quickly shoots two images in rapid succession - one with the flash and one without - and saves both. This convenient function lets users perform a comparison at their convenience and select the most pleasing image.
• Photographic control: Programmed AE, Shutter Priority AE, and Manual mode with extensive metering and focus options for the more advanced user.

Review pictures on the Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD monitor
A useful new function that ensures your photos are always the right way around in playback is Auto Picture Rotation. Whether you have taken a landscape or portrait image, you can enjoy your pictures whichever way around you are holding the camera, as the image will rotate in the screen to suit. A playback feature that allows for viewing an index-style image on the LCD. The Fujifilm FinePix S2500HD will show up to 100 images in micro form.
