LG ElectronicsLG GD970 smartphone : Information about new cell phones is coming at us from all directions. One of the rumors speaks of a nearing introduction of a new LG smartphone, the LG GD970. Specific information about this LG 3G cell phone is not available right now, but departing from the model name, for convenience’s sake we are assuming that it could be the successor to the LG GD900 Crystal. If the LG GD970 smartphone will make us forget about the GD900 phone, than the specifications need to be improve. We are expecting a 3.7-inch format touchscreen display with improved touch technology. We should be receiving more information at the MCW (Mobile World Congress) 2010 in Barcelona.

LG GD970 mobile phone features
Assuming the status of a successor to the GD900, we are expecting that the LG GD970 smartphone will have at least an 8 megapixel camera. Wi-Fi is a minimum requirement, if you want to make use of services such as Google Search, YouTube, Gmail en Google Maps as an owner of a LG GD970 phone. Of course this is achievable with the expected HSDPA 7.2 connection, and the freedom of Wi-Fi for indoor and outdoor use can no longer be missed. If more information about the LG GD970 will be released, we will come back to it!

LG GD970 phone on display at the Mobile World Congress
The MCW (Mobile World Congress) will be held in Barcelona, and LG Electronics will actually be confining itself to the hotel. This is in itself not a bad choice, to save on the pricey stand locations, and as a manufacturer you can focus completely on the visitor that is specifically interested in LG. If this visitor will actually run into the LG GD970, is still up in the air.
