The Kodak microSD card reader slides open from the middle to expose the card compartment and USB - then slides closed to prevent the card from falling out and the USB from collecting dust and dirt. For loss protection, it comes with a cord that connects to your keychain as well as a built-in non-detachable cover that cannot be misplaced.
