NikonNikon D300s sample photo gallery posted! Nikon D300s review is in process, both in practice as well as in the DIWA Lab, managed by Kai Thon, Test Manager of DIWA Awards. The Nikon D300s is an enhanced version of the Nikon D300, and in that respect the performance of this SLR camera does not bring any surprises,; in fact, it is a similar camera with an enhanced functionality. The main feature of this further developed Nikon DSLR is the video function, which is a 720p HD video, combined with a faster continuous shooting mode of 7 fps and an extra card slot, which means you can use both CompactFlash and SDHC memory cards at the same time. The first Nikon D300s sample pictures will follow soon after the review.

The Nikon D300s digital SLR camera has enhanced the possibility to capture HD videos with a digital reflex camera, since the camera also provides input of external stereo sound, autofocus and various first-time options in the field of built-in movie editing. Thanks to external stereo microphone support, the captured videos are now accompanied by a higher quality sound. Video clips can be edited inside the Nikon D300s by selecting a starting and finishing moment during playback. Additionally, the new C-type HDMI interface allows for editing on a High Definition monitor, if preferred.

Action photography should not present any problems for the Nikon D300s. A speed of 7 fps is possible without the need for an additional battery pack. The Nikon D300s camera includes the same imaging technologies as the D300, such as the Scene Recognition System with 1005-pixel RGB light metering, including the 51-point Multi-CAM 3500 autofocus system for an optimal autofocus performance. In combination, these technologies ensure an accurate autofocus, auto exposure and auto white balance. The Nikon D300s sample photos are taken in Purmerend, the Netherlands. The Nikon D300s test pictures in this article have been reduced to enable correct reproduction and compressed to ensure a faster loading time.
