SonySony CyberShot DSC-W360 digital camera : Leaking of information about new products seems to worsen with every year that goes by. And more often than not, it are the manufacturers themselves that can't keep the information a secret. This also seems the case with the Sony Cybershot DSC-W360, a possible new Cybershot camera of the W-series. Although the information we received about the Sony W360 is little to nothing at all at this time, we are still pretty sure that this camera will actually be introduced. Granted, maybe not this year, however, it is more than likely the Sony DSC-W360 will be officially introduced during CES in Las Vegas. Other details are based on the previous W-series cameras.

Sony Cybershot W360

12 megapixel Sony CyberShot W360 camera
The Sony Cybershot W360 digital camera is expected to be equipped with a 28mm wide-angle zoom lens at the least, including an optical image stabilizer. It is not yet clear as to what the amount of image resolution will be, but hopefully the Sony marketing team will not get all too carried away, and will equip the Sony W360 camera with 12 Megapixels. The optical zoom range is expected to be at least 5x. Image processing will be dealt with by Sony's BIONZ processor.

Photo & Video functions on the Sony DSC-W360
And if there are no changes compared to its predecessors, the Sony Cybershot W360 should be capable of shooting at a high sensitivity with a minimum of ISO 3200. The BIONZ processor should ensure an optimal signal/noise ratio. In addition to taking pictures, there should also be the possibility of High Definition video recording. Especially since Sony uses HD Movie as core marketing item, we expect at least HD quality video from the Sony W360.

Sony CyberShot W360 entry-level digital camera
The LCD screen size has not yet been announced, perhaps Sony will equip the camera with a 3-inch screen. The Sony Cyber-shot W cameras are known as powerful cameras, with a low entry-level. Auto functions such as scenes, smile shutter and face detection are the very least a current camera should have onboard. As soon as we receive more information about the new Sony Cybershot DSC-W360, will we bring you the updates!
