CasioCasio EX-FH25 digital megazoom camera : During the Photokina 2008 show, the FH20 was introduced. It was Casio's second camera from the High Speed Exilim series. Now, one year later, Casio announces its successor which it is currently destined for the Japanese market only. This is surprising and no explanation is offered. Perhaps the European and U.S. markets will have to wait until the CES 2010 next January, before being able to welcome the new Casio Exilim EX-FH25. The Casio EX-FH25 features a new CMOS sensor with 10 Megapixels of resolution and a 20x optical zoom lens. The Casio Exilim FH25 is a unique mega zoom camera; the extremely fast Burst photography mode makes the camera faster than a DSLR camera.

The built-in stabilization function corrects pictures by automatically combining the images that were taken during shooting in Burst mode. Either with or without a tripod, the advanced night mode feature ensures bright pictures when shooting at night in Burst mode. The HD Movie function of the Casio EX-FH25 takes 30 frames per second at 1280x720 pixels. The pictures and videos are stored on an SDHC memory card. The Casio Exilim EX-FH25 supports up to 32GB of storage capacity.

Shooting action with the Casio Exilim EX-FH25 megazoom camera
Thanks to the Casio Exilim EX-FH25, action photography is now easier than ever before. Also capturing videos with motion images faster than the human eye can actually see, belongs to the possibilities. Moreover, it is possible to playback the captured images and videos in slow motion. Photographers can choose from speeds of 1000 fps, 420 fps, 240 fps and 120 fps. With the aid of a one-touch button, they are able to switch from the standard rate of 30 fps to high speed recording at 240 fps. This feature enables the Casio EX-FH25 to easily capture precious moments on video.

Casio Exilim FH25 review

Casio EX-FH25 review
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be held in early January 2010, and Casio generally introduces one or more cameras. For the time being, Casio seems to continue to focus on the compact segment and megazoom cameras, and the brand seems to leave the system and DSLR cameras for what they are, or at least for now. Exactly what the CES 2010 show will bring us as far as Casio is concerned, remains a question at this time, although we still think there is a chance of a worldwide introduction of the Casio Exilim FH25. As soon as we receive a Casio Exilim EX-FH25 test sample, we will publish a photo gallery with high resolution pictures, followed by an in-depth Casio Exilim EX-FH25 review.
