GoogleGoogle Android Handset to be released soon? : A Google phone; it sounds so logical that it is in fact odd a phone with this name does not yet officially exist. On the other hand, Google has always insisted that software and related services are its core business, and has claimed it simply does not see launching a Google phone onto the market as a valid option. However, rumors are growing stronger by the minute, and the most recent information seems to point more and more towards an imminent introduction of the first Google mobile phone. This phone, if it indeed appears, will be launched onto the market under the Google brand name, and according to the latest information, this is supposed to happen around the summer of 2010.

It is rumored that a large phone manufacturer will start working on the production of the Google phone, and that it will solely be launched under Google's brand name. At this time, there is no available information as to what the Google phone will look like, and what its specifications will be, although it is quite obvious that the Google phone should be able to compete with the great example, which is the Apple iPhone. Naturally, the Google phone will run on the most recent version of Android OS.

Google phone will change the market
If the Google phone does indeed appear, it seems that Google will follow in the footsteps of Apple with its iPhone. And if we put all the pieces of information together, with the new Google phone in the centre, we can certainly see the large potential for such a mobile device. It may well turn out to be one of Google’s strongest trumps in the field of mobile communications. And on that note; where do we put in our pre-order for a Google phone?
