New Motorola budget phone : It has not yet officially been launched however; we do expect the launch of the Motorola i680 any minute now. This Motorola is a clamshell phone aimed at the entry-level market, a so-called budget phone. In times of economical crisis, like today, products aimed at this low budget market become more important than they were before. Even if the Motorola i680 cell phone is not all that exiting when it comes to technique; it definitely features enough multimedia functions to provide entertainment whilst traveling by public transport. The Motorola i680 phone supports Bluetooth and GPS and the 800/900Mhz network. Consequently, the Motorola i680 mobile phone puts itself offside for use within European borders.

Motorola i680 features
Some countries outside Europe use a so-called iDen network. This network operates on an entirely different frequency (800 / 900MHz) than the European network for the GSM cell phones. The digital camera on the Motorola budget phone features two megapixels, enough for snapshot photography. The new budget phone from Motorola also features a built-in flash, so at least you will be able to take pictures during the dark holiday season around Christmas.

Motorola budget phone
The Motorola i680 handset uses a microSD memory card to store digital pictures and videos. Video clips can only be captured in a low resolution and thus, the Motorola budget phone is completely at the other end of the spectrum compared to the High Definition enabled cell phones of Samsung, among other brands. At present, it is not yet clear which provider and which country will support the Motorola i680, presumably we will learn about this at its introduction. |
