 Olympus E-P2 Sample photo gallery : We just received one of the first full production Olympus PEN E-P2 test cameras. After shooting a few product photos in the studio, we made the first series of Olympus E-P2 camera test photos outside. The Olympus PEN E-P2 is the second Olympus Micro Four Thirds System camera and is, in summary, an improved version of the E-P1 that was introduced last summer. Although the Olympus PEN E-P1 was well-received by the industry’s press and the end-users, there were still a few points of criticism. The new Olympus PEN E-P2 camera allows for the majority of these critique points to be swept from the table, and Olympus extends their Micro Four Thirds product range with a new, advanced new PEN camera.

One of the new aspects is the accessory port, where the electronic view finder can be connected. This high-quality view finder comes included with the Olympus PEN E-P2, and offers a 100% view in an absolute high quality. The view finder can be tilted so that you can photograph from any position. The image resolution is unchanged, but that was to be expected. Olympus has already stated that 12 Megapixels is an outstanding standard for a system camera.
Olympus E-P2 review
The Olympus PEN E-P2 test photos were taken with a full production Micro Four Thirds System camera which means that this digital camera is equal to the model that the consumer can expect to purchase. Our DIWA test lab will soon review the Olympus E-P2 camera under laboratory circumstances from a technical viewpoint. The next few days we will test the camera in practice and come up with a Olympus E-P2 review soon.
