Sony Ericsson reviews : W995 supports TrackID and PlayNow Plus
LetsGoMobile says: "One application we recognize from earlier Sony Ericsson's phones is TrackID. TrackID will recognize music, ensuring that the seemingly ever-returning question of: "What was the name of that song again?" is now a thing of the past. The application works as follows: you're on a night out in a disco when you hear a nice song, you pick up your Sony Ericsson and activate TrackID, which will record a few seconds of the song. This data is then compared with a database, and within moments, both the artist and song title will appear on your phone. Next, you can immediately search for the song through PlayNow Plus. It's a good thing to have given a link to this already existing application."

Sony-Ericsson reviews - Digital camera application
LetsGoMobile continues: "The specifications of the camera look good. In addition to high photo resolution, the Sony Ericsson W995 also features many picture functionalities such as BestPic and Smile Detection. The digital camera application starts by pressing the shortcut on the side of the phone, or via the menu by selecting camera. Starting up and focusing each takes about two seconds. The four-way key lets you quickly change between the captured pictures, camcorder and picture camera mode. The settings can be adjusted by the right selector key."
