Dell Mini 3iX Android phone : Manufacturers seem so Android-minded these days, that they actually get in each other's way simply because of their eagerness. One after the other, they all seem to have adopted the Google Android OS, which means we can soon expect a big stack of new Android phones. Some information was already floating around the Internet about Dell joining in on the Android race, and the most recent rumor indeed seems to indicate an imminent release of one or more Dell Android phones. The name is still ambiguous, although most likely, a Dell Streak Android mobile phone will become available on the U.S. market in combination with AT&T, and a Dell Mini 3iX on the Brazilian market.

The latter, the Dell Mini 3iX, we already came across once before on the Chinese market, but as is the case with the Chinese iPhone 3GS, the Chinese model lacks the WiFi function. Recent information on the Dell Mini 3iX would suggest that the Android phone is capable of making a Wi-Fi connection. The Dell Mini 3iX Android handset supports GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA, Bluetooth and Bluetooth + EDR.

In terms of mobile photography, the Dell Mini 3iX is taking it easy. The 3 Megapixel camera on board of the 3iX does not to not at all emphasize photography with the Android phone. The screen is said to be about 3.5-inch large with an average high resolution of 640x360 pixels, which is just short of a VGA screen. Whether this Dell Mini 3iX Android phone is also expected to be launched in other countries, is not yet clear. However, as soon as we learn more about Dell's plans with the popular Google Android software system, we will bring you the updates!
