Samsung Galaxy review at LetsGoMobile : Times may be hard for global economy, Samsung clearly doesn't care. Where many companies have gone into what I would almost call; 'sleep mode', Samsung seems to carry on at the same speed as they are used to. Samsung is the first manufacturer after HTC, to launch a mobile phone on the market, based on the Google Android operating system. With only a slight delay compared to HTC, Samsung is still the early bird. The bright AMOLED touchscreen monitor and the LED flash are unique features compared to previous Android mobile phones.• Read the full Samsung Galaxy review at LetsGoMobile.

Samsung Galaxy review - Digital photography with your smartphone
LetsGoMobile adds: "When the digital camera application is started, the entire screen functions as a viewfinder, while the shutter release and a thumbnail of the last picture are displayed. Focus takes some time too, but not without a good result. The pictures look excellent on the bright AMOLED screen. The camera allows for taking pictures up close as well as from a distance without having to adjust settings, the autofocus automatically selects the best setting. We soon found out that neither these settings nor other settings can be adjusted. The only thing we can select is to add a location to a picture (geo-tagging) and the flash settings. Whereas Samsung usually offers a wide range of camera application settings, for the Samsung Galaxy this turns out rather disappointing."
Samsung Galaxy i7500 review - Google Android Market
LetsGoMobile continues: "As we are used to from the Google Android operating system by now, we also find the Android Market in the main menu of the Samsung Galaxy. This online toy-store for the Android fan offers access to many applications, which can be downloaded for a fee or entirely free of charge. Thanks to the open character of the platform, everybody is allowed to offer applications, thus creating beautiful, convenient programs. In addition to applications, you also find games and such in the Android Market. We came across an application to display text messages the same way the iPhone does a handy task manager and even a barcode scanner searching the cheapest price on the internet of the scanned product."
Samsung Galaxy review
With the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy, the Google Android fan is given a broader choice than just the HTC smartphone models. In addition to the Android operating system, the Samsung Galaxy features a 5.0 Megapixel digital camera with LED flash, 8GB internal memory, HSDPA, WiFi, AMOLED touchscreen monitor and Optic Internet. All findings can be read in the full Samsung Galaxy review at LetsGoMobile. |
