Functional components such as the 1.5 inch TFT color monitor have been ingeniously integrated in this small masterpiece and maintain the unique nostalgic charm of the camera. The monitor complements the optical viewfinder and helps the user to compose the picture, when needed. To transfer the image data to a computer the Minox DCC has an SD card slot as well as a USB port. Besides individual images in standard format it is also possible to shoot film sequences in AVI format.

All data are stored in an internal 128 MB memory on external SD memory cards. The power supply comes from a replaceable Lithium-Ion battery.
