CasioCasio EXILIM digital cameras for amateur photographers : Casio has extended their digital camera family with four new members; Casio EX-ZS150, Casio EX-ZS20, Casio EX-ZS12, and Casio EX-ZS6. These Casio compact cameras are equipped with a powerful zoom lens and 16.1 Megapixels. The newcomers provide high-performance features that are typically not available in entry-level cameras. The four new Casio EXILIM digital cameras have dedicated buttons for basic operations of shooting, reviewing, and deleting photos. The Casio cameras also feature the 'Easy Mode' interface, which clearly displays most used functions with large lettering and simple icons.

Users can easily follow the instructions from the on-screen help guide so they will be able to capture pictures with the optimal camera settings. Everybody can take stunning pictures with the new Casio Exilim cameras, simply point the camera at a subject and it automatically focus on the face of the subject. Once the focus frame turns green, the user presses the shutter button, and a sharp and vivid picture is captured. The new Casio cameras are designed to be easy for everyone to operate.

The Casio Exilim EX-ZS150 camera is equipped with a 24mm wide-angle lens and a powerful 12.5x optical zoom ready to capture any kind of scene, while the Casio Exilim EX-ZS20 camera is equipped with a 26mm wide-angle lens and a 6x optical zoom in a compact stainless-steel body. Both Casio Exilim cameras feature 'Premium Auto' mode, which automatically analyzes the scene to choose the best camera settings and image processing. When the set to 'Premium Auto' mode, the Casio cameras will automatically analyze the scene and simultaneously optimize camera settings for exposure, ISO, sensitivity, photo blur correction, focus location, tonal range, color balance, and level of noise reduction.

The Casio cameras also feature a 2.7-inch LCD display as well as fast USB charging, which provides users the ability to recharge the battery in-camera while connected to a personal computer. The Casio Exilim EX-ZS6 and the Exilim EX-ZS12 are equipped with a 26mm wide-angle lens and a 5x optical zoom. In addition, the Casio Exilim EX-ZS12 camera features a stainless-steel body for a high-quality look and feel. With high-performance features and a full range of shooting modes, these new Casio Exilim cameras will deliver an overall digital imaging experience that’s far from entry-level.

Premium Auto function helps you to take amazing pictures
The Casio cameras feature the 'Premium Auto' mode which will automatically distinguish night scenes, back lighting, a blue sky, green trees or a sunset and can sense whether there is a person’s face in the frame, the movement and position of the subject, and whether a tripod is being used. All pictures are analyzed pixel by pixel to apply corrections depending on the subject. For example, if 'Premium Auto' mode recognizes that the subject of the image is a person, it will automatically apply 'Make-up Mode', and will automatically apply 'Landscape Mode' if it detects that the subject of the image is a landscape. For those who value simplicity and want to take beautiful pictures with each press of the shutter, Casio’s Premium Auto is the mode to use.

All four Casio cameras can be purchased in a wide range of vibrant colours and offer 'Best Shot' mode, which optimizes image settings when the user selects the type of scene to be photographed. The 'Best Shot' mode was engineered to assist users capture the best photographs possible of a range of subjects in just about any possible environment. Users will benefit from helpful images and descriptions which accompany each photo mode and give a detailed explanation of when to use them and what each will provide. The new Casio Exilim cameras also offer a self-portrait photo function that automatically takes a shot when the camera detects the user's face. In addition, each Casio camera also supports HD video recording in 1280x720 pixels for funny video clips.
