CanonCanon IXUS 110 IS compact camera review : Canon continues to be successful with its compact cameras, as it has been for many years now. One after the other camera is developed and introduced, often proving a leading factor for the rest of the digital camera market. Still, Canon must have noticed that the competition is fierce and that it is becoming gradually more difficult to stand out. Increasing the amount of pixels is no longer interesting; however, a new model does need a sales-push somehow.

Canon IXUS camera review - Housing
The Canon IXUS 110 IS digital camera is available in various colors. One of the more stylish colors is the gold version. The camera is oblong yet round, and the material of the housing feels smooth. The design of the Canon 110IS camera still offers enough support for a stable hand-fit. Canon has really made an effort to create a fingerprint-proof housing, despite the shiny material. A large number of cameras do have fingerprint-prone housings. Canon has certainly succeeded in keeping it clean!

Compact camera review : Canon Digital IXUS 110 IS
Canon's broad experience in the field of photography creates high expectations. Or at least; it would be strange to find a Canon camera with a non-smooth operation. The Canon Digital IXUS 110 IS compact camera has such a large number of predecessors through which so much experience has been gained that the operation should be easy as pie. Canon has however stripped a lot of buttons and things from the back which is a rather bold step altogether.

Canon compact camera review including a DIWA Labs test
These are all highly interesting specifications on a stylishly designed camera. The Canon IXUS 110IS has a lot to offer a beginning photographer. The more enhanced photographer will perhaps miss a somewhat more creative way of shooting, since the camera provides auto shooting. We were able to use the Canon Digital IXUS 110 IS compact camera in practice for a while. Additionally, a sample was also extensively tested in our DIWA Lab in order to come up with a balanced conclusion using the results of the test in practice and those conducted in the lab environment. Our findings can be read in the following Canon IXUS 110 IS review.
