Samsung Beat DJ review - Music player
LetsGoMobile adds: "By sliding the slider button on the side of the phone downwards, the music player of the Samsung Beat is activated. You can then also enjoy your music through the built-in speakers, or you can use any headset you want by using the 3.5mm headset jack on the top side. In addition to the standard music player, you will find the BeatDJ application on the phone. If you play a music file, a rotating CD is displayed on the screen, which allows for scratching by sliding your finger over it. Additionally, you can filter and add sample sounds. In fact, all of this can be recorded allowing you to create your own tracks."

Samsung Beat DJ test - Digital camera application
LetsGoMobile continues: "Starting up the camera application is done by using the dedicated camera button on the side of the phone, or by using the camera option in the menu. Startup time is quite long, however, still fairly acceptable. It helps that you don't have to keep the shortcut pressed, and it suffices to press just once. This really saves time. As soon as the camera application is started, both sides of the screen will display three icons. The rest of the entire screen serves as viewfinder, while the resolution as well as the remaining amount of pictures that can be made, are displayed at the top of the screen."
