Garmin Dakota GPS navigators : Garmin intros the Dakota 10 and 20 handheld GPS navigators, packing a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, worldwide basemap and color touchscreen display into a compact, waterproof device with up to 20 hours of battery life. Lightweight, rugged and waterproof, Garmin’s Dakota GPS handheld devices quickly acquire and maintain satellite reception thanks to a accurate GPS receiver with HotFix, which calculates satellite info and can use that info to quickly calculate a GPS position. The Dakota handhelds are the latest GPS devices from Garmin, which has spent 20 years using technology to enhance users’ lives, making Garmin a brand name in the automotive, aviation, marine, outdoor & fitness industries.
