Samsung Tocco S8300 review at LetsGoMobile : Many recently introduced mobile phones feature a touchscreen. Although it is considered a trend, not everybody seems keen to rely solely on a touchscreen, and it are exactly these consumers that demand a general keypad. The solution for this group is the Samsung Tocco S8300. This mobile phone combines a general numeric keypad with a touchscreen, thus providing the user with two operating options. We have extensively tested whether this combination is convenient in practice.• Read the full Samsung Tocco review at LetsGoMobile.

Samsung Tocco review - Phone menu
LetsGoMobile adds: "The main menu comprises of twelve icons. In addition to the standard functions, a Google menu has been added in order to get to Google Maps, Google Mail or the search tool quickly. The menu looks similar to those of the Samsung Pixon and Samsung F480 mobile phones. Compared to the F480, the Tocco's menu is smoother and scrolling is easier. Still, I get the feeling the menu also stutters more, although this could also be just the test sample I am using."
Samsung Tocco test - 8 Megapixel digital camera
LetsGoMobile continues: "The built-in 8.0 Megapixel digital camera enables you to take high resolution pictures with the Samsung Tocco. I am curious to find out how the Tocco camera application works in practice, since I had such a positive experience with that of the Samsung Pixon when it comes to speed and user-friendliness. Startup of the camera happens through the menu or the shortcut on the right side. The application starts up reasonably fast, although it requires pressing the shortcut for awhile."
Samsung Tocco review
Samsung combines a touchscreen and a numeric keypad in the Tocco S8300. Furthermore, the Samsung Tocco features a GPS antenna, an 8.0 Megapixel digital camera with auto focus, HSDPA, AMOLED color monitor and an FM radio. It is the AMOLED monitor, never before applied to a mobile phone, and the combination of the touchscreen and keypad that makes this mobile phone unique.
