SonySony Walkman review at LetsGoMobile : Sony was founded by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita. It wasn't until the company changed its name to Sony Corporation that things really started to take off in the USA. Today, Sony is a renowned company because of its Playstation, VAIO computers, television sets, digital cameras and, of course, the Sony Walkman series. The Sony Walkman NWZ-S639F belongs to the S-Series and is, just like its siblings of the A-series, equipped with a thin design and a music, photo and video mode. One thing the S-series does feature whereas the A-series does not, is the SenseMe function.

Sony Walkman music quality
LetsGoMobile says: "The music quality that this media player reaches is typical for Sony: a full and clear sound. Every song is played in a very high quality, thanks to the audio options the S639F offers. The Sony NWZ-S639F delivers a superb music reproduction. The EX ear plugs that are included with the Sony, fit nicely in your ear and are fine-tuned to the media player. The bass shows at its full advantage. The availability of a good equalizer with 4 preset options and 2 private settings ensures you will always find the best settings for every song."

Sony Walkman test - SensMe Channels
LetsGoMobile continues: "The SensMe Channel function is a nice extra the NWZ-S639F offers. In this menu, with pressing the button once, all your music is sorted in 11 different channels, among which are Morning, Daytime, Night, Lounge, Acoustic, Electronic etc. It's funny to hear which music was sorted to which channel. In the morning, the MP3 player will play songs that guarantee an easy wake-up call, whilst at night music is played that lets you snooze off easily. Lounge, electronic, extreme etc. are quite obvious."
