Samsung NV24HD digital camera review : At the beginning of last year, Samsung made itself heard by introducing a whole new series of digital compact cameras. However, the second half of last year proved to be the opposite. Samsung NV24HD review - Camera design
The design of the Samsung NV24HD makes the camera stand out from the crowd. Entirely black, partially with black lacquer, a front with its very own appearance and a back that is unique for its button layout, are all signs of what the Samsung designer department is able to come up with. Despite the compact and thin size, the Samsung NV24HD is not light. The material used for the body feels solid and offers a steady hand-fit.

Samsung NV24HD test - Camera operation
The operation of the Samsung NV24HD is unique. It comes down to; either you like it, or you hate it. First of all, the 2.5 inch monitor of the camera serves as control center. All actions are displayed and dealt with on the screen. The so-called 'touch buttons' respond to the finger skin. A soft touch already activates the button. It takes some time to get used to, although in itself, the operation is very direct and also interesting. The buttons around the monitor are black and there is no indication as to what their functions are. On the screen, a symbol on the same level as the button shows the function of the related button. Via a button from one row, you have to select the main function and via a button of the other row, you then select the setting of that function. Want to know more about this compact camera?
