 Panasonic Lumix FX150 digital camera review : The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 does not mind a few extra Megapixels. No less than 14.7 Megapixels have been crammed onto the 1/1.72 inch image sensor. We don't even find a resolution this high standard on most digital SLR cameras, exceptional! However, the question arises: what do we do with an amount this high? Is it really necessary to equip a compact camera with a resolution this high, or did marketing play a big role in this? Yet, the fact still stands that the Panasonic Lumix FX150 was introduced last summer, and that it was exactly this high resolution that distinguishes the camera from other Lumix introductions.• Read our full Panasonic Lumix FX150 review.

Panasonic Lumix FX150 review - Camera design
The appearance of the Panasonic Lumix FX150 is typical for an FX design camera. If you are familiar with the Lumix cameras, you will be able to spot them from a mile away. The design has been pushed far, and in my opinion it is successful. The camera has a solid feel to it and is nicely finished. The attractively curved lines of the housing and the material used leave an impression of quality. The material used on the front and side feels quite smooth. The topside of the camera, where the fingers are placed, feels kind of rough. Besides adding to the neat appearance of the camera, the silver-colored plate on the topside also has a function; it supports the grip.
Panasonic Lumix reviews : DMC-FX150 compact camera
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX is in the first place a compact camera for ease. A camera that does not require photographic skills, and a lot is left to the auto mode of the camera. And as far as all this is concerned; the Panasonic FX150 simply has it all. Its compact size and reasonably light weight make it possible to carry the camera with you at all times. Daily photography comes within reach for everybody, which is of course the strong point of a compact camera.
