Sony Xperia phone records super slow motion video

Mark Peters : 2017-03-05 17:40:00
Recording slow motion video with 5-axis image stabilization : At this year's congress in Spain, Sony surprised the industry by unveiling the world's first super slow motion phone. The new Xperia XZs hosts an impressive list of specs and features, never seen before in a mobile handset. Sony Electronics has always been a strong player in developing innovative imaging technology. In 2004 Sony took its first serious steps into the mobile business, when they teamed up with Ericsson to manufacturer the first camera phones. I was covering the CeBIT when they proudly demonstrated the first 1.3 megapixel phone to the world. Time has changed, over the past years we have seen many new developments in our precious mobile devices. Sony's latest Xperia phones are now able to shoot super slow motion video in Full HD resolution and real-life colors.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium delivers Super Slow-Motion video : This is the first Sony smartphone to feature a memory stacked Exmor RS sensor with technologies usually only found on Sony premium compact cameras, it provides 5x faster image scanning and data transfer. This means you can create sensational videos from your everyday moments by recording in 960 frames per second, providing Super slow motion video playback that is four times slower than other mobile handsets giving you more detail than has ever been possible in the palm of your hand. Sony Predictive Capture imaging technology stays one step ahead and automatically starts taking images when it detects motion before you press the button, so you can find a moment your eye may just have missed from a selection of up to four shots taken a second before you clicked.

Sony A9 full-frame camera

Sony Alpha A9 professional camera : For some time now there is talk about the new Alpha 9. Sony did not release any digital cameras at the CES, so hopes were set on the CP+. But again, no A9. Regretfully we will have to wait a little longer for Sony's new full-frame camera. They aren't the only manufacturer who didn't reveal any new cameras at the Japanese Camera & Photo Imaging show. Nikon has also been very passive this year, same goes for Olympus. Sony's current flagship model, the Alpha 7R II has a 42MP full-frame sensor. It seems that Sony will add a big dose of megapixels. The Sony A9 E-mount is likely to feature a 72-megapixel full-frame sensor, resulting in immensely sharp and detailed image quality.
