Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 lens : At 2017 CES, Panasonic has showcased the all-new DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm Lumix G lens. The Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm / F2.8-4.0 ASPH. / Power O.I.S. (35mm camera equivalent: 24-120 mm; 5x zoom range), a new standard length zoom digital interchangeable lens, is the first lens to be introduced from Panasonic’s Leica DG Vario-Elmarit F2.8-4.0 series. It fully covers a variety of daily shooting situations, from dynamic landscapes to portraits even in low-lit situations or providing a beautiful defocus effect by taking advantage of the F2.8-4.0 high-speed performance. The Leica lens is very compact, allowing easy carrying for photographers and videographers.

Panasonic Lumix DC GX800 system camera : At CES 2017 Panasonic introduced the Lumix DC-GX800. This camera with interchangeable lens succeeds the two year old DMC-GF8. The model name has been changed (the camera is still called GF9 in Japan), so that consumers can recognize the camera type by its name. The GX-series is the latest camera series from Panasonic, which consists of compact rangefinder models (system cameras with a flat top, no SLR design). The Panasonic DC-GX800 is a sleek and stylish system camera for the novice photographer. The camera has a 16 megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor with low-light autofocus, enabling users to make beautiful shots in low light conditions.

Secure construction and the sealing of every joint, dial, and button makes the camera not only splash / dust-proof, but also freeze-proof down to -10 degrees Celsius. In response to requests from professional users, the Lumix GH5 comes with a Waveform Monitor and Vector Scope. It also embeds SMPTE-compliant Time Code either in Rec Run or Free Run count-up methods, which makes it easy to synchronise multiple video footage or sound sources in the post production workflow. Luminance levels can be selected between 64-1023 / 64-940 / 0-1023 (10-bit).

Panasonic just released its 18.1-megapixel compact camera for semi-professional use. Taking advantage of 4K technology, users can enjoy 4K Photo shots with the Lumix FZ80. Panasonic 4K Photo lets the user capture fleeting photo opportunities at 30fps by extracting the best frame from a 4K burst file to save as a photo. Plus, multiple images can be automatically saved as 4K Photo shoots all at once. A maximum of 150 frames in five seconds can be saved following a designated frame. The Panasonic LumixFZ80 ultra-zoom camera will have a black body and will be available in March for $399.99. Retail prices vary from country to country.
