Apple unveils new TV application for TV, iPhone and iPad : Apple recently introduced the new TV app, offering a unified experience for discovering and accessing TV shows and movies from multiple apps on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. The Apple TV app provides one place to access TV shows and movies, as well as a place to discover new content to watch. Apple also introduced a new Siri feature for Apple TV that lets viewers tune in directly to live news and sporting events across their apps. Watching TV shows and movies across Apple devices has never been easier. The TV app will be available for Apple TV, iPhone and iPad and always stays in sync so that when users begin watching on one device they can easily continue where they left off on their Apple devices.

Canon smartphone app and firmware update : Enjoy greater control over your images with new Connect Station CS100 Smartphone App and firmware update. Canon unveils it will launch a dedicated companion smartphone app for its Connect Station CS100, available on iOS and Android from late March. The Connect Station CS100 Smartphone App will allow you to upload images to, and download from, your smartphone or tablet; browse and select images to view on your TV screen, as well as rename albums and add comments. To complement this, Canon also announces the release of an automatic firmware update for the Connect Station CS100, available from late May, which will deliver enhanced levels of control and even easier access to your image library.
