Canon EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens : Canon introduces a new EOS M lens. The Canon EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5–6.3 IS STM is a compact, stylish zoom lens for EOS M series digital cameras. A special retraction mechanism shortens the length of the lens to just 1.76 inches (44.5mm) when the camera is off, to help make carrying and storing the lens and camera even easier. The quiet stepping motor (STM) design helps ensure low-noise focusing that’s ideal for recording movies. The 35mm-equivalent 24-72mm range combines a wide angle for landscapes and big group photos, with a telephoto zoom for close-ups and detailed headshots.


Canon 4K Ultra-HD broadcast lenses

Canon 4K UHD broadcast camera lenses : Canon, a leader in digital imaging solutions, has recently announced two new long-zoom 2/3-inch 4K field lenses in support of the emerging 4K UHD broadcast camera systems. The Canon UJ86x9.3B (UHD-DIGISUPER 86) is the flagship Premium 4K field lens and is flanked by the UJ90x9B (UHD-DIGISUPER 90) standard 4K field lens. These two 4K Ultra HD lenses are the first in Canon’s line of 4K broadcast lenses for covering sporting events, concerts, and other live events. The zoom ratios of 90x and 86x of these two lenses make them the longest and second-longest 4K broadcast lenses in the world. The UHD-DIGISUPER 86 and 90 lenses will be shipping in October 2015 and March 2016 respectively.


Canon 4K UHD Wide-Angle Broadcast Lens

Canon 4K wide-angle lens : Canon announced the CJ12ex4.3B portable 4K 2/3-inch broadcast lens, the world’s first 4K wide-angle lens for use with 4K broadcast cameras featuring 2/3-inch sensors. This will be the first in a new line of 4K broadcast lenses intended to support a range of 4K ultra-high-definition (UHD) productions. Designed as a portable wide-angle 12x zoom lens, the CJ12ex4.3B is ideal for Electronic Field Production (EFP) and Electronic News Gathering (ENG) broadcast applications covering news, sports, live events and filmmakers creating documentary projects desiring 4K quality. Canon is also developing a portable, longer-zoom 4K lens that will further extend 4K UHD production capabilities.


Nikon professional super-telephoto lenses

Nikon introduces two new Nikkor super-telephoto lenses : Nikon had recently announced two new professional super-telephoto lenses with the lightest build in their class: the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 600mm f/4E FL ED VR, and the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 500mm f/4E FL ED VR. These new super-telephoto lenses see Nikon improve the performance and significantly reduce the weight of two renowned super-telephoto workhorses. The new Nikon 500mm f/4E is 20% lighter than its predecessor. The new Nikon 600mm f/4E is an incredible 25% lighter. Both Nikon lenses have all-new optical designs that employ lightweight fluorite glass elements, as well as Nano Crystal Coat and ED glass. The impressive weight reductions are made possible with the use of fluorite elements, and a construction that incorporates magnesium alloy.

Olympus M.Zuiko Pro lenses

Olympus M.Zuiko optics for Micro Four Thirds cameras : 2015 sees the addition of a fifth lens to Olympus’ M.Zuiko Pro range, which combines genuine professional performance with the compact and lightweight design of Micro Four Thirds cameras.
