Samsung component technology at Hi Tech Fair 2014

Samsung Component Technology at China Hi Tech Fair 2014 : Samsung Electro-Mechanics, the global integrated electronic components producer, is participating in the 16th China Hi Tech Fair Elexcon 2014 from Nov. 16 till Nov. 21 in the Chinese city of Shenzhen where a wide range of high tech convergence technologies and components will be in display. It will be the first time the company has participated in an IT and electronic exhibition in China. By taking part as a main sponsor, the company will demonstrate its technological innovations and increase its presence in the emerging Chinese market. The company will be displaying a variety of products, including components for smartphones, products for wearable devices and automotive items.

Samsung Mobile App Academies : Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) is continuing to help students mobilize their future with its expanded Samsung Mobile App Academies. In its third year, the mobile application (app) development program for high school students will travel to a total of ten cities across the country. The program also features a new app coding curriculum extension - a fundamental component to app development. The Samsung Mobile App Academies will be held in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. beginning June 17. By participating in the summer program, eligible 11th and 12th grade students have a chance to create a winning mobile app that will qualify them for a chance at $35,000 in scholarships.

Galaxy Studio at the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi : Samsung Electronics launched the centerpiece of its Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games campaign, the Galaxy Studio within the Olympic Park, joined by Maria Sharapova, global tennis icon and Samsung’s Brand Ambassador for Sochi 2014, and Timo Lumme, Managing Director, IOC Television & Marketing Services. The Galaxy Studio Olympic Park will enable consumers to interact with Samsung’s latest wireless technology and connect with the Olympic Games 2014.
