Firmware update for Fujifilm X-Series cameras

New firmware update for Fujifilm X-series digital cameras : Fujifilm Corporation has launched a new firmware for X-Series digital cameras that makes it possible to send images via Wi-Fi to an instax Share smartphone printer SP-1 for instax instant film prints. The new firmware update is designed for three Fujifilm X-Series cameras: the Fujifilm XQ1 (a premium compact camera), the Fujifilm X-M1 and the Fujifilm X-A1 (APS-C sized sensor mirrorless cameras). With the compact instax Share Smartphone Printer SP-1, it is easy and fast to make on-the-spot instax prints of photos taken with a smartphone. Install the Fujifilm Instax Share app on your smartphone, and then send your images via a wireless LAN connection to the SP-1 to print instax photos.


Fujifilm X-mount lenses

Fujifilm roadmap for X-mount lenses : Fujifilm is pleased to release an updated road map for X-mount interchangeable lenses. A large-diameter medium telephoto lens (the Fujifilm XF90mm F2 R) features for the first time on the development road map for end 2015. The next available X-mount lens will be the Fujifilm XF50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR. Following on from the XF18-135mm lens, this will be Fujifilm’s second weather resistant lens designed to fit the Fujifilm X-T1 camera. Other updates to the Fujifilm X-mount road map include the previously announced "Ultra-wide angle lens" being confirmed as the Fujifilm XF16mm F1.4 R with a launch date of mid 2015. And the planned launch of the Fujifilm XF16-55mm F2.8 R WR lens moving to Spring 2015 and the Super Tele-Photo Zoom lens to Winter 2015.
