Record number of Automotive Exhibitors at 2014 CES

CES 2014 Automotive Exhibitors : The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that a record nine automotive manufacturers will exhibit at the upcoming 2014 CES Show in Las Vegas. Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota will showcase their latest technologies among an enhanced line-up of automotive technology exhibits, TechZones and conference sessions. Automotive exhibits at the 2014 CES Show will cover more than 140,000 net square feet of exhibit space, up 25 percent over the 2013 event. More than 125 total automotive tech companies, including Delphi, Dual Electronics, JVC Kenwood, Mitek, Pioneer, and QNX, will showcase their latest automotive technologies and services on the 2014 CES show floor.


Beyonce album breaks iTunes Store record

New Beyonce album a true best seller : Apple announced that Beyonce has become the fastest selling album ever on the iTunes Store worldwide with an unprecedented 828,773 albums sold in just its first three days. The Beyonce album also broke the US first week album sales record with 617,213 sold and proved to be a global success going to number one in 104 countries. The self-titled, Beyonce, is the fifth solo studio album from Beyoncé, which was made available exclusively worldwide on the iTunes Store on December 13 by Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. The self-titled set is the artist’s first visual album.

CEA Black Friday Survey results : Over half of US adults who shopped through Black Friday, November 29 and bought consumer electronics, did so online (55 percent), a 10 percentage point increase over last year and a new record, according to interim results from the Consumer Electronics Association’s annual Black Friday Survey. CEA’s Black Friday Survey examines shopping habits, intentions and expectations Thanksgiving Day through Monday, December 1. “The dust is still settling, but early indications point to a weekend of record-breaking online sales and a healthy appetite for key tech products.”

Black Friday Target deals : Target Corporation announced a very successful start to its Black Friday shopping weekend, with guests responding to great discounts and a wide variety of the season’s most popular offers. On the Target website, where nearly all special deals were available on Thanksgiving Day, traffic and sales were among the highest Target has seen in a single day. In the early morning hours after the doorbusters first became available, Target saw two times more orders versus last year at that time.
