Ilse Jurriën : 2013-09-20 11:55:00
Nikon D7100 sample videos : Up until a few years ago, it was unthinkable that you could also shoot respectable videos with your expensive DSLR camera. That is what camcorders were for, after all. These days, we expect more and more from the video function on an SLR camera. It is not surprising that the Nikon D7100 has a Full HD video function, which shoots 1080p recordings up to 60i/50i (in 1.3x crop mode) and 30p/25p/24p. The built-in stereo microphone equips videos with the right quality of audio. Additionally, it is possible to connect an external microphone and headphones. We performed an extensive practical test with the Nikon D7100’s video function.

Adobe Anywhere for video production : Adobe Systems Incorporated announced the immediate availability of Adobe Anywhere for video, which was initially previewed in April 2013. With Adobe Anywhere, the biggest headaches in video production - massive file transfers, duplicate media, and proxy files - are a thing of the past. Adobe video brings virtual teams of talent together, enabling them to efficiently log, edit, share and finish video productions using standard networks and hardware. “Video production has always been challenging because it’s difficult for multiple editors to work on the same project and pass huge files back and forth across the Internet,” said Jim Guerard, vice president, Enterprise Solutions, Adobe.

Nikon D800 test videos : With the Nikon D700, it was not possible to make video recordings at all. At the time, it was still unusual that SLR cameras had a video function. With the Nikon D800, you not only buy a professional SLR camera in order to shoot high resolution photos, but the D800 can also record beautiful, fluid Full HD video clips. 1080p video clips can be recorded in 30p, 25p, and 24p. In 720p HD quality, videos can be recorded in 60p, 50p, 30p, and 25p. Uncompressed videos can easily be streamed via HDMI to an external recorder, which is an ideal addition for the videographer that wants to edit the video afterwards.
