Toshiba 3D Smart TV series : Toshiba announces a new range of Smart TV services and features with the introduction of the new TL968 and RL958 3D Smart TV series. Both new series have been enhanced to make it easier to access a world of online content and connect with multiple multimedia devices around the home. New built in Wi-Fi provides instant access to Toshiba Places, an Open Browser lets viewers surf the web, while USB Video Recording, Intel Wireless Display, Skype compatibility and additional tablet and smartphone integration combine to offer greater functionality than ever before. The new Toshiba TL968 and RL958 3D Smart TV series are available now.


LG Curved OLED TV

LG 55-inch Curved OLED TV : LG Electronics announced that it will begin accepting pre-orders for its 55-inch (54.6-inch diagonal) Curved OLED TV (Model LG 55EA9800) in South Korea, with deliveries to begin next month. More than 1,400 LG retail stores in South Korea will begin taking orders from customers for the premium TV, priced at KRW 15 million (approximately USD 13,500). The announcement makes LG the first and only company to commercialize both the flat screen OLED TV, which began shipping to Korean customers in February, and the LG Curved OLED TV, giving a significant lead in the OLED segment that is expected to grow to 7 million units by 2016, according to DisplaySearch.


Panasonic Smart TV feature Nuance voice capabilities

Panasonic Viera Smart TV’s : Nuance Communications announced that Panasonic’s 2013 line-up of Smart Viera HD-TVs announced at CES Show in Las Vegas feature voice capabilities powered by Nuance’s Dragon TV. Now users can simply sit back and speak to find content, search the internet, control volume and more - creating a more interactive and intelligent television experience. And with Dragon TV’s text-to-speech, television content and options on the screen can be read aloud. Dragon TV is Nuance’s unique voice and natural language understanding platform designed specifically for Smart TV, device and set-top box OEMs and service operators.


Sharp Aquos LED TV

New Sharp Aquos LED TV series : Sharp announced almost twenty 60" plus class TV models as part of its new Aquos LED TV series, with more models that feature Quattron technology, more choices in the fast growing 60", 70" and 80" screen classes, striking new slim designs and the world’s largest LED TV, the 90" Aquos. More than half of the Aquos 2013 large screen Sharp LED TV lineup will feature the company’s exclusive Quattron technology in the 7 and 8 Series. Quattron color technology adds a yellow pixel to the standard red-green-blue sub-pixel structure. This offers greater detail, smoother lines, and brighter yellows, deeper blues and richer golds. Sharp LED TV Screen brightness is also enhanced without compromising color accuracy.


LG Ultra HD TV

CES 2013 Show - LG Ultra High-Definition Televisions : LG Electronics has showcased its new Ultra HD TV line-up at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The original 84-inch Ultra HD TV was complemented by new 55- and 65-inch models. The new sizes offer the same resolution and immersive viewing experience as the 84-inch Ultra HD TV, the winner of the "Best of Innovations" in the Video Display category at the 2013 International CES Innovations Awards. LG Electronics was the first company to successfully commercialize Ultra HD-TV technology, introducing the immersive set for sale to the public in August of this year. All three models in the Ultra HD TV line-up boast the advanced Triple XD Engine.
