Samsung Shareholders meeting : Samsung Electronics convened its 44th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 15 at its headquarter in Seocho-dong, Seoul. The meeting was attended by shareholders and institutional investors. Samsung Electronics reported its business performance for 2012. Its consolidated revenue for the full year 2012 reached 201 trillion won and its consolidated operating profit registered 29 trillion won. Agenda items included approval for the 44th financial statements, approval for the appointment of the Board of Directors, and approval for the remuneration ceiling for the Board of Directors. Samsung Electronics will make diverse efforts to fulfill its social responsibilities, including the establishment of a CSR Committee under the Board of Directors.
