Sony DSC-HX200V test pictures : The Sony CyberShot HX200V is an 18 megapixel camera with a 30x optical Carl Zeiss zoom lens. Next to a tilting display, the camera is equipped with an electronic viewfinder. Via a separate button on top of the camera you can easily switch between the display and the electronic viewfinder. If desired, all display settings may also be shown on the viewfinder. In comparison with its predecessor, the DSC-HX100V, the camera has improved its capacity to photograph in low light, partially due to the implementation of a new sensor, and the auto focus is considerably faster than before. Clear Image Zoom, which enlarges the 30x zoom up to 60x, while maintaining image quality.

Sony HX200V panorama photos : Next to taking regular photos and macro shots, the Sony HX200V is equipped with various panorama functions. The panorama mode can be selected directly with the settings dial, which then offers a number of possibilities. The Sony HX200V has an Intelligent Sweep Panorama, 3D Sweep Panorama, Wide Panorama and a High Resolution Sweep Panorama. Additionally, with Sweep Multi Angle, you can take a series of photos in order to see the subject from different angles. Depending on the panorama mode selected, you have to hold the camera horizontally or vertically in order to take the panorama photo, and this is clearly shown on the display. Sony is known for its high-quality panorama function.

Sony DSC-HX20V test photos : The Sony DSC-HX20V camera is an ideal travel partner thanks to its compact character and outstanding G-lens with 20x optical zoom. Next to manual control, there are a couple of automatic settings available, so that it is easy for amateur as well as ambitious photographers to take high quality photos with the Sony DSC-HX20V. The 18.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, together with the powerful Bionz processor, makes clear, noiseless photos. Noise suppression does seem to work too aggressively, so that details become a bit blotchy. This is often the case for competing camera models as well.

Sony CyberShot panorama photos : The Sony CyberShot HX20V is an advanced, 18 megapixel digital camera with a powerful 20x zoom lens. Sony is famous for its Sweep Panorama function, which is also included in the CyberShot HX20V. There are three types of panorama photos available: standard, wide-size, and HR (high resolution) panorama photos. I find it disadvantage that the camera only gives you x number of seconds to move the camera from left to right, and when you do this slowly, the right side of the photo remains gray. Once you get the hang of this, you can expect beautiful panorama photos with brilliant vistas and great details.
