Samsung Facebook officially denied : Last week there was commotion about a new service from Samsung that would have to compete with the popular Facebook service. The tales around a new Samsung Facebook service have been created after a Korean employee of Samsung mentioned to the local newspapers that Samsung will launch a new social media network service early next year, with which they want to compete with Facebook. Within no time the news has been spread all over the world, Samsung must have felt compelled to issue an official statement in which they state Not to develop a Samsung Facebook social media service. In contrast, Samsung is working on an Samsung Family Store update.


Samsung Galaxy S2 Android update

Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 update : Samsung Electronics announces the availability of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) software upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S2. The Android update will begin in the European countries including Poland, Hungary, and Sweden, as well as Korea and gradually roll out to other markets. Android 4.0 ICS software upgrade for the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy R, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, 7.7, 8.9 and 10.1 will follow soon. Samsung Electronics has completed upgrading the Samsung Galaxy smartphone to Android Gingerbread last year by providing software updates to both Froyo and Gingerbread. With the ICS upgrade, Samsung Electronics has solidified its position as the leader of Android devices.

Premium Suite software upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Note : Samsung announced it will be offering a Premium Suite upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Note users worldwide from Q2. The software upgrade includes extra multimedia features and a range of new S Pen optimized applications in addition to an OS upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade brings an entirely new look and feel to Android on the Samsung Galaxy Note, with a more intuitive user interface that includes a redesigned App menu for easier multi-tasking. The Galaxy Note software upgrade also introduces innovations such as Face Unlock, Snapshot, and others.
