Ilse Jurriën : 2012-06-03 13:30:00
Olympus Tough TG-820 review : Olympus has years of experience in developing robust cameras, or rather digital cameras resistant to water, shocks and cold. Earlier this year Olympus introduced its new Tough flagship camera. The Olympus TG-820 is a robust 12-megapixel camera designed for true sports enthusiasts. The Olympus Tough TG-820 is just like its predecessor, the Tough TG-810 launched last year, waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters and shock resistant up to a height of 2 meters. The camera a can also support pressure up to 100 kg and temperatures down to 14°F. We took the Olympus Tough TG-820 out for a practice test for a while.

Nikon Coolpix S9200 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2012-05-28 11:15:00
Nikon Coolpix S9200 review : Last quarter, Nikon announced a new Superzoom camera. The Nikon Coolpix S9200 is a 16 megapixel digital camera with a very sensitive, backlit CMOS sensor. Thanks to this sensor, the camera receives more light, resulting in improved image quality. Furthermore, the Nikon Coolpix S9200 is equipped with a Nikkor lens with a powerful 18x optical zoom (25-450mm). Such a zoom range without effective vibration reduction is undesirable, and that is why Nikon has equipped the Coolpix S9200 with VR-vibration reduction with lens-shift, which ensures steady shots. We gave the Nikon Coolpix S9200 a test run for quite a while. Our findings can be read in the following Nikon Coolpix S9200 review.

Olympus OM-D test photos : Over a week ago Olympus introduced a new digital camera, and not just any. "The Olympus OM-D marks the beginning of a new era of digital SLR cameras", such were the words of Olympus. The Olympus OM-D is a lightweight and compact camera without a mirror. The highlight of this system camera is, without a doubt, the ingenious electronic viewfinder. In addition, the 16 megapixel Olympus OM-D incorporates a new Live MOS sensor, a TruePic VI-image processor and an incredibly fast auto focus system. During the Olympus OM-D Hot Spot Hunt event in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we were able to test this remarkable camera a whole day long to shoot sample photos of a wide variety of topics.

Olympus SP-810UZ review

Ilse Jurriën : 2012-01-19 17:12:00
Olympus SP-810UZ review : The Olympus SP-810UZ is a mega zoom digital camera that belongs to the Olympus Traveler series. This camera series is known for its large zoom range. The Olympus SP-810UZ is at the top with a 36x wide-angle lens, never before has Olympus Imaging developed a compact camera with such zoom characteristics. Usually such a zoom range is at the cost of image quality, especially when the sensor remains unchanged. In order to preserve image quality, the Olympus SP-810UZ is equipped with a double image stabilizer, which counteracts camera shake. Further, the Olympus SP-810UZ is a true point-and-shoot camera, with few manual adjustments possible.

Ilse Jurriën : 2012-01-17 02:20:00
Nikon Coolpix P7100 review : In August of last year, Nikon introduced a new advanced digital compact camera as an addition to its P-series (Performance series). The Nikon Coolpix P7100 is a mega-zoom camera for the serious photographer and has a 10 megapixel 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor and a Nikkor wide-angle lens. Additionally, the Nikon Coolpix P7100 is equipped with a 3" tilting screen with a high resolution and 921.000 focal points. The Nikon Coolpix P7100 also has the EXPEED C2 processor, which contributes to fast data processing.

Nikon 1 J1 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2012-01-01 18:30:00
Nikon 1 J1 review : Previously, the consumer could choose from two camera categories: a digital compact camera (for the amateur photographer) and a digital SLR camera (for the professional photographer). In 2008, Panasonic together with Olympus introduced the Micro Four Thirds concept, which resulted in the Panasonic Lumix G1 system camera. The system camera became the ideal combination of a compact camera with professional image quality. For a long time, the camera giants Nikon and Canon held off, however, in September of this year Nikon finally introduced their system camera series, the Nikon 1. The Nikon 1 system camera series is currently made up of two cameras, the Nikon 1 V1 and the beginner-level model the Nikon 1 J1.
