Olympus SZ-31MR test photos : The SZ-31MR is the new flagship within the Olympus Super Zoom camera series. The 16-megapixel Olympus SZ-31MR, with its 24x optical wide-angle zoom lens is ideal for taking detailed close-up photos, even when the subject is at a distance. The double image stabilization even works when the zoom is completely engaged, so that the camera still takes sharp images. Moreover, thanks to the improved autofocus, the camera reacts quickly and accurately. Tab Control makes it possible to take photos by simply tapping the 7.6 cm touch screen, then focusing occurs automatically and a photo is taken.

Olympus TG-820 test photos : The waterproof and shockproof Olympus TG-820 is a 12 megapixel digital camera with a new backlit CMOS sensor. This sensor, together with the trusted True Pic VI-image processor and the innovative iHS technologies, delivers a better image quality than its predecessor did. With a very high sensitivity and improved noise suppression, iHS is the basis of a number of functions newly developed by Olympus that simplifies digital photography. Examples are the fast autofocus and the HDR backlight correction, with which the Olympus TG-820 automatically takes several shots when shooting with backlight, these images are then merged into one perfectly lit photo.

Olympus OM-D photo gallery : During an European Olympus event, held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we were able to test the Olympus OM-D system camera a full day long. The 16 megapixel Olympus OM-D is a remarkable fast digital camera, thanks to an extremely fast auto focus system and a new Live MOS sensor. Unlike an optical viewfinder, the electronic viewfinder of the Olympus OM-D also assists in image composition, by allowing the photographer to check the effects of various manual adjustments and Art Filters. The viewfinder enables separate adjustment of highlight and shadow brightness. White balance, magnification and aspect ratio can similarly be adjusted.

Olympus SP-810 UZ test photos : The Olympus SP-810 UZ mega-zoom camera has the same 14 megapixel sensor as its predecessor, the Olympus SP-800UZ. The known TruePic processor has also remained the same. In this mega-zoom camera, most attention has gone to the zoom range; the Olympus SP-810 UZ has a 36x wide-angle lens with a range of 24-864mm. You can truly bring any subject close by. Thanks to the double image stabilization and the auto focus tracking function, the photos are sharp, even when you use the zoom function. Disadvantages of the Olympus SP-810 UZ camera are the quality of the screen and the sensitivity of the sensor.
